The Salon is a giving circle, a reading syndicate and a great way to champion a strong female voice.

Every year, members of The Salon will get behind a fabulous female Sydney Writers’ Festival headliner.

Members enjoy the benefits of the SWF Patron Program, as well as additional events exclusive to The Salon.

The Salon benefits:

• Invitation to an exclusive privately hosted Salon book club/cocktail party in March each year where the Sydney Writers’ Festival’s Artistic Director will discuss the book you are supporting
• A copy of the supported author’s latest book
• An invitation (with a guest) to the supported author’s Festival appearance, proudly presented by The Salon
• An opportunity to meet the author during the Festival and have your book signed
• Six complimentary tickets to the Festival
• Access to the fully catered and exclusive Patron’s Lounge during the Festival
• Two private Salon events throughout the year, featuring conversations with high-profile writers
• Priority booking window for Festival tickets, with a ticket concierge service

Places in The Salon are strictly limited. You can join by making a payment of $2,500. This contribution includes a $250 membership fee that is not tax-deductible (resulting in a $2,250 tax-deductible donation).
