Sydney Writers’ Festival, Australia’s largest literary festival and one of the world’s most influential literary events, is seeking an exceptional Artistic Director to help shape its next chapter. Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, the Artistic Director will lead the Festival’s artistic vision and year-round programming, bringing exceptional editorial judgement, intellectual curiosity, artistic leadership and a deep understanding of audiences, storytelling and contemporary public discourse. This is a rare opportunity for a proven cultural leader to shape one of Australia’s most visible and trusted cultural institutions and help influence the future of literary and public conversation in Australia and beyond.
