Sydney Writers' Festival strives to make every event as accessible as possible. All Festival venues are wheelchair accessible. 

Auslan Interpreted Events

Hearing Loop System

The following venues are fitted with a hearing loop system: City Recital Hall; Sydney Town Hall; York Theatre, Seymour Centre; and Riverside Theatres, Parramatta.  

Captioning

All events in Bay 17 at Carriageworks will be closed-captioned. Tickets for closed-captioned events can be purchased through the Sydney Writers' Festival box office, either by phone on 02 9256 4200 or email at ticketing@swf.org.au.

Companion Cards

Companion Card holders qualify for a complimentary ticket for their companion. Please contact the Sydney Writers' Festival box office directly on 02 9256 4200 for assistance with your booking.
