Education payment T&Cs

Bookings are processed in order of receipt. Your booking is confirmed once Sydney Writers’ Festival issues you an invoice.

Bookings for Primary and Secondary School days made prior to Friday 30 April 2027 will be eligible to pay a 50% holding deposit. The holding deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled after Friday 9 April 2027.

The final balance for all bookings is due by Friday 30 April 2027. Please make a note of this date for your school calendars to avoid processing delays. Your final balance invoice will be sent 4 weeks before this due date.

If you book after this date, your invoice must be paid 72 hours after booking and no later than Friday May 28 2027.

Any booking change requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected] and confirmed prior to final payment. Additional seats are subject to availability.

Sydney Writers’ Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists and to vary the program should the need arise.

Unless stated above, the general terms and conditions of the Festival apply to Education bookings.
