Education payment T&Cs

Bookings are being processed in order of receipt. Your booking is confirmed once Sydney Writers’ Festival issue you an invoice.

 

Bookings for Primary  and Secondary School days made prior to Friday 1 May 2026 will be eligible to pay a 50% holding deposit. The holding deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled after 10 April 2026.

 

The final balance for all bookings is due by Friday 1 May 2026.  Please make a note of this date for your school calendars to avoid processing delays. Your final balance invoice will be sent 4 weeks before this due date.

If you book after this date, your invoice must be paid 72 hours after booking and no later than May 30 2026.

 

Any booking change requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected] and confirmed prior to final payment. Additional seats are subject to availability.

 

Sydney Writers’ Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw, or substitute artists and to vary the program should the need arise.

 

Unless state above, the general terms and conditions of the Festival apply to Education bookings.

 

All our venues are registered as COVID Safe. Sydney Writers' Festival and the Education venues are following all NSW Government health guidelines and all safety procedures will be in line with NSW Government health guidelines on the day of the event.

 

Bookings affected by changes to NSW Health guidelines that prevent excursions from taking place will be fully refunded. All other refund requests will be carefully considered in light of current public health risks and/or changes to your school's internal policy. Refund requests must be made in writing to  [email protected].
