Yumi Stynes is an author and broadcaster who has been making content for 25 years. Yumi hosts the hit ABC podcast Ladies, We Need to Talk, one of the ABC's most downloaded podcasts, now in its 9th season. Yumi co-authored the bestselling Welcome To series of guidebooks for young people on topics like consent, getting your period and sex. The newest book in the series will be out in 2026. Yumi has a food podcast called The 5-minute Food Fix where she gets to rave about her love of cooking, recipes and restaurants and she's returned to her first love – music – and can be currently heard on-air spinning classics and new music every Saturday and Sunday on Double J.
