Tony Birch

Tony Birch is the author of two novels and four short story collections. His debut novel, Blood, was shortlisted for the 2012 Miles Franklin literary award, and his 2015 novel, Ghost River was shortlisted for several major literary awards and was the winner of the Victorian Premier's Literary prize for Indigenous fiction in 2016. In 2017 Tony was also awarded the Patrick White Prize for Literature. Common People is his latest book.
