Steve MinOn

Steve MinOn was an advertising copywriter and a restaurateur before becoming an author. Steve's debut novel First Name Second Name (UQP 2025) won the unpublished manuscript award at the Queensland Literary Awards and was shortlisted for People's Choice. It was shortlisted for the MUD Literary Prize and was nominated for the Dublin Literary Award. His debut children's picture book Make Them Say Poo (Affirm 2026) under the pen name Stephen, was illustrated by Rudi de Wet.  Born in North Queensland, Steve now lives in Magandjin/Brisbane.
