Sarah Holland-Batt

Sarah Holland-Batt is an award-winning Australian poet, editor, critic and the author of three books of poems and a book of essays, Fishing for Lightning, a collection of her columns on contemporary Australian poetry written for The Australian. Her books have received many of Australia’s major honours for poetry, including the Prime Minister’s Literary Award and the Stella Prize. Her most recent book, The Jaguar: Selected Poems, is published by Bloodaxe Books in the UK in 2024. She is presently Professor and Head of Creative Writing at the University of Technology Sydney.
