Paddy Manning

Paddy Manning is the author of five books, including: Body Count: How climate change is killing us (Simon and Schuster, 2020) – winner of the non-fiction prize in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards 2021; Inside the Greens (Black Inc., 2019); and Born to Rule: The Unauthorised Biography of Malcolm Turnbull (MUP, 2015). Over a 20-year career in journalism he has worked for ABC Radio National, Crikey, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review and The Australian, and was founding editor and publisher of Ethical Investor magazine. He is presently a contributing editor for The Monthly magazine, a part-time lecturer in investigative journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney, and about to embark on a doctorate at Macquarie University on the history of News Corporation.
