Nour Haydar

Nour Haydar is a journalist and co-host of Guardian Australia's flagship daily news podcast Full Story. Nour was previously a federal political reporter with ABC News where she covered major domestic stories and presented national programs including News Breakfast. Nour has been an outspoken voice on the failures of Western newsrooms in covering Gaza and in 2024 she delivered the prestigious AN Smith Journalism Lecture. Her speech titled A reflection on Palestine, Australian media and who gets to shape the story explored the lived realities of violence and the role of the media in determining which voices are heard.
