Nisaluk Chantanakom

Originally from Thailand and raised in New York City, Nisaluk Chantanakom now lives in Wangal Country (Sydney Inner West) with her husband, three kids and their delightful (somewhat smelly!) rough collie named Indiana Bones. A Fine Arts graduate, she transitioned from painting and design to her passions: education and illustration. Her debut picture book as an illustrator, A Teaspoon of Light, was Shortlisted for the CBCA New Illustrator Award and her new book A Lemon for Safiya was recently released in May 2025.
