Mitch Vane

Mitch Vane is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne. She works with paint and clay and is best known for her children’s book illustrations that have a distinctive loose energetic pen and ink style. Mitch collaborates with many authors both in Australia and the US but more often teams up with The Age columnist Danny Katz. They have created many humorous books including their much loved Little Lunch series. Little Lunch has been made into a highly successful TV series for ABC3 and Netflix and they are very excited to be creating two brand new books with Walker Books to add to the collection.
