Meg Gatland-Veness

Meg Gatland-Veness is a high school drama teacher. Equal to her love of writing is her passion for fostering important conversations about issues facing young Australians today. Meg is from Milton, a small Australian town, and now lives on the Central Coast of NSW. Meg is the author of I Had Such Friends (2018), which was shortlisted for the Australian Book Industry Award for Small Publisher’s Children’s Book of the Year in 2019, When Only One (2022) and What’s Murder Between Friends (2024).
