Louis Hanson is an Australian writer, presenter, comedian and podcaster. He currently co-hosts Shameless Media’s Everybody Has a Secret, a weekly podcast which has amassed over half a million followers across social media. In 2024, Hanson made his TV presenting debut, co-hosting the Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras 2024 Broadcast on ABC.
His sold-out debut comedy show Besties - performed at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and 2023 Sydney Comedy Festival - received a 5-star review in The Age. On screen, Hanson acted in Amazon Prime’s Australian sketch comedy television series The Moth Effect, and recently took part in Adidas' World Cup Call Up. From 2021-2023, Hanson also hosted Pedestrian Daily, a Spotify exclusive daily news podcast. Hanson’s writing has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, SBS, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Guardian. He has also fronted campaigns and hosted events for TikTok, Instagram, PEDESTRIAN.TV, Tinder, AirAsia, Kia, Dan Murphy’s and Adidas Australia.
