Lee Dionne is co-director of Hayes Street Studio, a venue for world-class chamber music on Sydney's North Shore where he curates and performs sixty concerts of solo and chamber music annually alongside his co-director, flautist Rosie Gallagher. Lee was the founding pianist of the multi-award-winning Merz Trio, winners of the prestigious Naumburg Award in Chamber Music and now the leading piano trio in North America. Lee holds multiple degrees from Yale University including a doctorate in piano performance and bachelor degrees in comparative literature, receiving top prizes in both departments. He has taught chamber music at Yale University and Yellow Barn Young Artists' Program, given masterclasses throughout the United States and teaches at Hayes Street Studio and All Hands Piano Academy in Sydney.
