Kara Jensen-Mackinnon

Kara Jensen-Mackinnon is an award-winning podcast producer. She is the supervising producer of ABC News podcast, If You’re Listening. She has created podcasts for Guardian Australia, Schwartz Media, Sydney Opera House, Anti Slavery Australia and others. In 2021, her narrative series Temporary, about refugees on temporary protection visas, was awarded Best News and Current Affairs Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards and the STARTTS Humanitarian award. In 2023 her series, The Fight for a Voice won Best News and Current Affairs podcast and she was nominated for a Walkley for her series Inside Robo Debt.
