Jon Sopel

Jon Sopel is one of Britain's foremost journalists and commentators. He currently hosts the multi-award-winning podcast The News Agents along with Emily Maitlis and Lewis Goodall. Before that he was the BBC's North America Editor, during which time he wrote a trilogy of books about Trump's America. He has also served as the Paris correspondent and the corporation's chief political correspondent. His new book Strangeland focusses on returning to the UK after his 8 years in the US. Jon also writes a regular column for The Independent on US politics.
