Jane Messer

Jane Messer is a Sydney writer whose work spans fiction, memoir, essays and radio drama. Her latest book is a work of memoir and history, Raven Mother: War, Inheritance and Family. A former associate professor of creative writing at Macquarie University, her novels include Hopscotch, Provenance and Night by Night. Recent essays and short fiction have appeared in The London Magazine, The Conversation, AXON Journal and Life Writing.
