Freda Chiu

Freda Chiu is an Australian children’s author and illustrator. Some of her titles include: A Trip to the Hospital, Last-Place Lin written by Wai Chim, and the Miss Mary-Kate Martin's Guide to Monsters series by Karen Foxlee. Her work has been nominated for numerous awards including a shortlist for the 2022 Children's Book Council of Australia Award and IBBY Australia Ena Noël Award, among others. As well as illustrating children’s books, Freda’s work spans comics, editorial illustration, public art and retail graphics.
