David Marr

David Marr’s Killing for Country, A Family Story, published in 2023, examines his forebears’ role in the Queensland Native Police in the bloodiest years of the Frontier Wars. David has worked as a journalist for the ABC, Fairfax and The Guardian. His other books include Patrick White: A Life and My Country, a recent collection of his stories, speeches and essays. These days David is presenting Late Night Live on ABC Radio National.
