Danny Gardner

Danny Gardner is a freelance journalist, novelist, poet and editor. He is co-founder of and has convened the venue Live Poets at Don Bank, North Sydney, since 2003. His last book of poetry was Figure in the Landscape (2022). Danny has appeared with Auburn Poets & Writers at every Sydney Writers’ Festival since 2008. He became coordinator of the group in 2014. He is now also the co-Treasurer. He has pioneered the development of Auburn Poets & Writers’ monthly Open Mic nights at WestWords over 2023.
