Aki Fukuoka

Aki Fukuoka was born in the mountains of rural Nagano, Japan. At the age of eight, her family of seven moved to the farmlands of rural Whangarei, New Zealand. She has illustrated over 80 books including the bestselling Billie B. Brown series, written by Sally Rippin, which now includes new graphic novel volumes.
