Sydney Writers’ Festival has implemented precautionary security measures for this event to ensure a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all attendees.

Bag checks will be conducted prior to entry to the auditorium.

By attending this event, ticket buyers agree to comply with security screening procedures and any reasonable directions from authorised staff. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted inside the venue:

• Weapons of any kind

• Firearms or ammunition

• Explosive, flammable or hazardous materials

• Laser pointers

• Unauthorised banners, flags or poles

• Any item deemed unsafe by security personnel
