Jazz Money is a Wiradjuri poet and artist based on Gadigal land, Sydney. Their practice is centred around poetics while producing works that encompass installation, digital, performance, film and print. Their writing has been widely published nationally and internationally and performed on stages around the world.
Jazz is a Guest Curator for the 2024 Festival. Her curated events create a rich exploration of poetry, fireside stories from First Nations storytellers and a unique conversation about Blak criticism.
We spoke with Jazz about the events they have curated for the Festival this year and where they'll be appearing in the Program.

“I have quite selfishly programmed [Blak Crit] as someone who works at the intersection of poetry, literature and the arts. I really wanted to bring together these incredible thinkers to see what they think is going on in the place where First Nations creativity intersects.”

Speak the Light
“Speak the Light is going to be a really powerful, nourishing poetry performance session of people speaking their own poetry, which is such a gift.
