CANCELLED: Dreams of the Future

We know words have the power to change the world, from Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech to Greta Thunberg’s impassioned address to the United Nations Climate Action Summit.

Inspired by the fusion of activism and oration, Sydney Writers’ Festival and Vivid Sydney have gathered writers, artists, activists and changemakers to share their messages of change in this special storytelling event.

The lineup includes artist, activist and screenwriter Aretha Brown, broadcaster and human rights advocate Craig Foster, writer, comedian and podcaster Louis Hanson, editor, creative director and writer Megha Kapoor, Detransition, Baby author Torrey Peters and rapper and changemaker Ziggy Ramo. Hosted by award-winning journalist and filmmaker Patrick Abboud.
