Inspired by their Cretan heritage, actor and writer Zoe Terakes’s debut story collection Eros is all about reclaiming the messy, trans, queer stories of Ancient Greece from the centuries of censorship and retelling that have dulled them. Merging the distant past and the pressing present, Zoe infuses these stories with an alluring sexuality and deep vulnerability, re-introducing the characters and narratives to a new audience.
