As a country with the oldest storytelling tradition in the world, Australia’s soil is deeply infused with language and poetry.

Through times of peace and violence, we have First Nations stories of care, community and survival passed through generations. In this panel discussion, poets black&write! fellowship winner Dakota Feirer (Arsenic Flower), Jazz Money (mark the dawn) and Luke Patterson (A Savage Turn) consider poetry as a powerful political force for resistance and resilience, holding communities and reaching a national stage.
