This event was previously called Suzie Miller and David Williamson in Conversation. Unfortunately, David Williamson is unable to attend Homegrown and will no longer be appearing.

A maximum two tickets per order. If your plans change, please release your advance tickets for others to enjoy via the Return or exchange tickets form. If we're booked out online there will be a limited number of tickets available at the door.

Please note, all advance tickets must be scanned 10 minutes before the event starts to guarantee a seat. Ticket holders arriving after this time cannot be guaranteed entry and will be admitted on a first come first served basis.

It’s not often that women’s sport gets mainstage attention. For these two writers, it just makes sense.

Laurence Olivier Award–winning playwright Suzie Miller (Prima Facie, Strong is the New Pretty) and award-winning broadcast journalist and author Samantha Lane (ROAR) have built their careers championing women in male-dominated fields.

In this conversation, Suzie and Samantha reflect on the overlap of their careers in the theatre and on the field and how writing women’s stories creates change.

Join Suzie and Samantha for an empowering event, with host Jo Dyer.
