A world of poetry brought to the stage
Join us for poetry’s night of nights!
The National Poetry Month Gala returns to the State Library of New South Wales, featuring some of Australia and New Zealand’s finest contemporary poets, wordsmiths and spoken word artists including Evelyn Araluen, Dakota Feirer, Lisa Gorton, Hera Lindsay Bird and Jihad Yassine. Hosted by much-loved presenter and journalist Jan Fran, the night also sees special guest Zoe Terakes reading their favourite verse and a feature musical performance by Grammy-nominated Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal.
Post-show, keep the party going with a pop-up bookshop for book signings, a bar and a live DJ in the Glasshouse foyer.
