The act of writing is an act of attention and, at its best, it’s an enactment of wonder.

In writing, we learn to steady the gaze and direct our attention on the page and off. Rich, luscious writing has wonder in it. In this workshop for writers and those wishing for more creativity in their lives, you’ll explore ways of making your words sing with wonder.

Using carefully curated exercises, acclaimed writer and mentor Kathryn Heyman helps you bring life and joy into your creativity. You will leave this inspiring session with a new ability to notice wonder in daily life, to create wonder on the page, even when writing about apparently ordinary things, and to harness the power of wonder in your writing practice.
