First Nations writers have redefined Australian literature with their powerful and original stories.

With the ABC Radio National’s Top 100 Australian Books Countdown soon to open for voting, writers Bruce Pascoe, Kirli Saunders and Melanie Saward join Rudi Bremer, host of ABC Radio National’s Awaye!, to discuss their favourite First Nations books. Hear about titles and writers that have impacted their work as well as our national literary culture more broadly.

Revel in outstanding stories from the world’s oldest storytelling tradition with Bruce, Kirli, Melanie and host Rudi. Bring a notepad as you’re sure to walk away with a list of titles to try!
