Niall Williams began as non-fiction writer, co-authoring four books with his artist wife Christine Breen about their idyllic life in Ireland. Now he’s internationally renowned for his novels, including Four Letters of Love, History of Rain and, his latest, Time of the Child, many of which are set in the fictional village of Faha, inspired by the villages of his home County Clare.
