2026 Sydney Writers' Festival Program Guide

Sydney Writers’ Festival is the largest celebration of literature and ideas in Australia, and is among the top five of its kind in the world. It brings together the world’s best storytellers with an engaged and enthusiastic audience for a thoughtful, challenging and riotous celebration of the written word. 

From 18–24 May 2026, audiences of over 100,000 are expected to attend the annual Sydney Writers’ Festival at venues across our city. 

The Sydney Writers’ Festival Program Guide is our audiences’ primary means of finding out about the Festival program each year. When you advertise in the Program Guide, you speak directly to highly engaged and passionate Festival-goers and can tap into curious, avid consumers of the arts seeking to use their strong purchasing power to invest in the cultural life of Sydney in meaningful ways.

45,000 copies of the Program Guide will be distributed to bookstores and venues across Greater Sydney throughout March, April and May, as well as on-site during the Festival week.
