Willem Tibben came to Australia from Holland in 1954 and grew up on dairy farms. Willem worked in the NSW Public Service for 43 years, studied Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and Literature, began writing in 1967 as a ‘Dylan tragic’ and has been at it ever since then. Willem has published four books, Near Myths, The Conscious Moment, The Fascination of What’s Simple and Suburban Veneer and is currently working on a collection of bird poems.
