Tyson Koh is the Campaign Director of anti-lockout group Keep Sydney Open and produces the ABC’s long-running music program, Rage. Since 2014, Tyson has been a key advocate for Sydney’s nightlife and engages with state and local governments to support the city’s night-time economy. He has staged rallies and precinct activations, most notably a protest in February 2016, attended by 15,000 people. Keep Sydney Open has recently registered as a political party to contest the 2019 NSW election.
