Tonya Alexandra has a fractured life writing for print and television, as well as maintaining a tortured relationship with books. To get out of her head she carves wood, etches, and struts around in the background of TV shows working as an extra. She is the Secretary of the Northern Suburbs branch of the Children’s Book Council of Australia and considers creativity vital for life. In her latest book, The Implausible Story of Olive Far Far Away, invisible Olive causes chaos as a backpacker.
