Maureen Ten has directed plays, improvisations and documentaries, penned a newspaper column and tutored at university. Maureen edited and independently published the prize-winning anthology Mood Lightning and read at the Sydney Writers’ Festival. She has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, Westerly, Imago and anthologies including Australian Asian Poets. A reading from her plays was included in the 2014 Hornsby Festival of the Arts. Maureen convened Cosmopolitan Sydney in Conversation and now Gugubarra both featuring poetry in diverse languages and discussion.
