Linda Brescia

Linda Brescia is a Sydney-based artist who investigates the banalities and complexities of everyday life experiences and rituals through painting, photography, sculpture and performance. Selected exhibitions and performances include Cementa 17, Kandos NSW (2017); Parramatta Artists Studios at Artspace, Sydney (2015); Words don’t work for me, Number Forty Seven Gallery, Rylstone NSW (2015), SafARI Live (2014); Exit Pursued by a Bear and Faithless (on the Llamb), Sheffer Gallery (2013); Life and Death, MOP (2012) and Mini Print International Awards – Asia Pacific (2012). Linda was awarded the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award Sculpture Prize in 2011 and 2009 and an Australia Council ArtStart Grant in 2010. Her work has been collected by Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Artcell Collection Management, Blacktown City Council and private collectors.
