Alex Miller

Alex Miller is the award-winning author of 12 novels and a collection of essays and stories. He has received the Miles Franklin Literary Award twice – in 1993 for The Ancestor Game and in 2003 for Journey to the Stone Country. In 1993, he was the overall winner of the Commonwealth Book Prize (formerly Commonwealth Writers’ Prize) for The Ancestor Game. Max, a non-fiction account of the life of his friend and mentor Max Blatt, was published in 2020 by Allen & Unwin.
