Aaron Connelly

Aaron L Connelly is Director of the Southeast Asia Project at the Lowy Institute, where his research focuses on Indonesia, Myanmar, and the US role in the region. Prior to joining the Lowy Institute, he was a Special Assistant to former US National Security Advisor Samuel R. Berger at Albright Stonebridge Group in Washington. He is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. His most recent work is the Lowy Institute Analysis, Autopilot: East Asia Policy under Trump.
