Samera Kamaleddine is a Sydney-based children's and youth librarian, but for many years before that she was a journalist, writing for magazines about everything from friendship dramas and school bullies to body confidence. She is the author of young adult novel Half My Luck (2021) and middle-grade novel The Sideways Orbit of Evie Hart (2023). She hopes to one day have hair as great as Kate Middleton’s.
