Lauren Draper is a Melbourne-based writer and publishing professional. She is a graduate of RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing program and loves nothing more than a story infused with magic, hijinks and a touch of nostalgia. Her debut novel, The Museum of Broken Things, was published in June 2020, and has been shortlisted in the Text Prize and Readings Young Adult Book Prize. Her work for ‘grown-ups’ has also been longlisted in the 2019 Richell Prize and appeared in various non-fiction publications. She grew up in Western Australia, mostly on land but often in water.
