Ailsa Piper is a writer, director, performer, teacher, moderator and speaker. She was co-winner of the Patrick White Playwright's Award in 2001 for her script Small Mercies. Her first book was a travel memoir called Sinning Across Spain, and her second, The Attachment: Letters From A Most Unlikely Friendship, was co-written with Tony Doherty. Ailsa has judged the NSW and Victorian Premier's Literary Awards six times. She swims daily, rain or shine.
