Travelling to Carriageworks

Carriageworks is located in Wilson Street, Eveleigh, and is accessible by the following modes of transport. 

Carriageworks is a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station. Macdonaldtown Station is a 10-minute walk; take the Inner West line from Central. Newtown Station on King Street is a 15-minute walk directly along Wilson Street; take the Inner West line from Wynyard, Town Hall, Central, Circular Quay or St James. 

The closest stop is on King Street (near the Queen Street intersection); a five minute walk. From Central, take Newtown buses 422, 423 or 426. The nearest stop is at Codrington Street at City Road, approximately a 5-minute walk to Carriageworks.

The accessible parking and taxi entrance is at 229 Wilson Street, corner of Queen Street. Limited time-zone parking is available for a fee in the surrounding area. Unrestricted on-street parking is available in the evening on the southern side of Wilson Street, between Golden Grove and Ivy Street. There is also a small number of unrestricted spaces on Forbes Street.

Paid parking is available at Shepherd Street Carpark in Darlington, a 10 minute walk to Carriageworks, along with some weekend Paid parking within the University of Sydney campus.

There are bike lanes on surrounding streets, and plenty of bike racks on site.
