Student Sessions takes place on Wednesday 1 May at Carriageworks.
How do I book tickets?
How do I book my complimentary teacher ticket?
For every 20 student tickets purchased to Student Sessions, you are entitled to one complimentary teacher ticket. Please select these when you are booking via the online booking form or the hard copy form.
What year groups is School Days suitable for?
Student Sessions is suitable for years 9–12.
My students have special access requirements. Who can I speak to?
Carriageworks is wheelchair accessible. When you are filling out your booking form, please enter any access requirements. Alternatively, contact our customer service team on (02) 9256 4200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your needs.
Can students get their books signed?
Yes. Authors participating in Students Sessions events will be available to sign copies of their work. Books by participating authors will be available for purchase at each event. Students are also able to get their own copies of books by participating authors signed.
Can I get a risk assessment document for visiting the Festival?
Yes, a risk assessment document is sent with your final receipt.
What are the Payment terms and conditions?
Once your booking form has been received you will be sent a tax invoice to confirm your reservation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within ten (10) working days of the date of the invoice. Remaining balances must be paid in full by Friday 12 April 2019. Requests for additional tickets should be submitted in writing. Additional seats are subject to availability.
Transport to and from Carriageworks.
Please note there is no parking for buses on site and we encourage the use of public transport. It is a 10-minute walk between Redfern Station and Carriageworks on Wilson Street. Bus drop off zone details will be published closer to the day. Please arrive early to ensure you are seated in time for your first session.
