Sydney Writers’ Festival’s Family Day is back with talks, activities and performances for kids of all ages.

Our fun-filled family day on Sunday will be unmissable with edible bugs, explosions, inflatable bin chickens and an epic illustrator. Don’t miss Nazeem Hussain and Heath McKenzie discuss their hit series Hy-larious Hyena. Find out whose writing partnership is more robust: Kate & Jol Temple, or Matt Zeremes & Guy Edmonds. Hear all about bugs (and maybe try eating one) with Bryan Lessard or travel back in time with Katrina Nannestad and Amelia Mellor. You’re also invited to contribute to the creative process as a picture book is converted into a music score and then performed live with Matt Ottley.

Whichever adventure you choose, you're in for a great day!

Track 12 Family Day events are $15 adult, $25 for an adult and child. Bookings are essential.

Blacksmith Workshop Family Day events are Free.
