Craft poetry that probes survival, strength, care, solidarity and community. In this workshop, award-winning Wiradjuri poet and artist Jazz Money teaches how poetry can respond to place, the past and the future.

Jazz’s practice is centred around the written word while producing works that encompass installation, digital, film and print. Her writing has been widely performed and published nationally and internationally. Her David Unaipon Award-winning debut collection how to make a basket was published in 2021.

Sydney Writers' Festival sponsors one place per workshop for attendees who may not otherwise be able to participate. Please apply via this online form. Applications close Monday 9 May. Those selected will be notified by email from Tuesday 10 May.
