Australian Bureau Chief for The New York Times  Damien Cave provides the essential tools for translating place to page. Drawing on his extensive experience as a journalist, Damien will use this workshop to explore the research process that goes into foreign correspondence and help you apply colour and authenticity to any project.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in international reporting in 2008, Damien is a co-author of Unseen: Unpublished Black History from The New York Times Photo Archives, and his latest book is Into the Rip: How the Australian Way of Risk Made My Family Stronger, Happier ... and Less American.
