Many writers have brilliant story ideas but don’t know where to begin. In this workshop with bestselling author J.P. Pomare (Tell Me Lies, In the Clearing), learn different approaches to writing crime fiction and how to maintain narrative tension. Undertake a variety of exercises to help you move from the initial ‘big idea’ to a polished draft full of twists that keep readers turning the pages.
Once you have booked an online workshop, information on how to participate will be emailed to you by 12 April. If you have any queries, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sydney Writers’ Festival is sponsoring one place per workshop for writers who may not otherwise be able to participate. Find more information and an online application form.
